10 KOTA PALING BERBAHAYA DI DUNIA

Setiap orang tentu punya impian bahkan cita-cita ingin keliling dunia ("Keliling Dunia Wah pasti sangat asyik...."). Namun demikian tahukah anda bahwa peradaban disetiap belahan bumi sangat jauh berbeda bahkan jauh dari seperti apa yang anda bayangkan.

Berikut 10 negara yang tergolong ekstrim/sangat berbahaya (berdasarkan kekerasan maupun kriminalnya) berdasarkan penelitian Mercer Consulting, lembaga konsultan SDM dan finansial global dari AS :

1. Baghdad, Irak

Versi Barat, Baghdad merupakan kota paling berbahaya nomor wahid menurut Mercer Consulting.  Setiap bulan selalu saja ada bom mobil yang menyasar properti milik AS. Tentara dari Inggris dan AS sudah ditarik sejak 31 Desember 2011 lalu.

Namun AS dan Inggris mengeluarkan larangan agar warganya tidak berkunjung ke sana kecuali untuk urusan yang benar-benar penting atau dikawal petugas keamanan profesional.

2. NDjamena, Chad

Kendati situasi keamanan membaik di kota ini sejak 2010 karena ada perjanjian dama di Sudan. Namun ketegangan yang meningkat di Libya juga menimbulkan ketidakstabilan di Chad.

Peristiwa penculikan dan terorisme masih membayangi. Pemerintah Inggris dan AS sudah mengeluarkan travel warning pada warganya untuk bepergian di negara ini.

3. Abidjan, Pantai Gading

Situasi perbaikan keamanan di Abidjan meningkat signifikan sejak penahanan mantan Presiden Pantai Gading, Laurent Gbagbo pada 11 April 2012 lalu dan beralihnya kekuasaan Presiden Alassane Ouattara, yang terpilih pada pemilu.

Kendati demikian kriminal seperti penjambretan, perampokan, pencurian dan pembajakan mobil masih terjadi dan mengancam orang asing yang berkunjung. Di satu sisi pelayanan birokrasi juga masih minim.

Demonstrasi politik dan perkumpulan warga juga harus dihindari. Ancaman sakit kuning, kolera dan campak juga dilaporkan mewabah sejak tahun 2011.

4. Bangui, Republik Afrika Tengah

 Ada wabah kekerasan di Bangui pada awal Juni 2011 sehingga pemerintah menetapkan jam malam di kota, dan baru-baru ini telah terjadi serangan pada beberapa orang Eropa pada jalan-jalan yang memiliki pemandangan indah.

Kriminal seperti pencurian dan perampokan umum terjadi, geng bersenjata beroperasi di pinggiran kota yang terpencil. Fasilitas transportasi dan medis terbatas, juga kekuatan keamanan militer dan sipil. Sering terjadi pelecehan dan perampokan pada warga negara asing.

Beberapa kasus warga AS ditahan tanpa alasan dan tanpa prosedur yang benar, ditempatkan di penjara yang kondisinya parah dan memindahkan tahanan itu tanpa memberitahu Kedubes AS. Pemerintah juga menolak akses konsuler ke para tahanan ini.

5. Kinshasha, Kongo

Kota ini masih memiliki ancaman kriminal yang tinggi, termasuk perampokan bersenjata, termasuk yang dilakukan kelompok geng remaja yang makin agresif belakangan ini.

Beberapa geng juga menggunakan perempuan untuk menarik orang-orang, utamanya turis asing, masuk dalam jebakan. Geng kriminal itu biasanya menawarkan iming-iming diskon emas dan berlian untuk merampok orang asing, termasuk di siang hari.

Ada juga ancaman penahanan dari aparat keamanan setempat yang biasanya meminta negosiasi dengan jaminan tebusan. Pada Juni 2011 juga ada wabah kolera di kota ini.

6. Karachi, Pakistan

Karachi masih dalam ancaman terorisme dan kekerasan sektarian, dan beberapa penyerangan di tahun 2011. Serangan juga tidak pandang bulu, termasuk yang menjadi tempat berkumpul ekspatriat dan turis asing.

Tempat-tempat umum menjadi sasaran, apalagi yang berhubungan dengan pemerintah Pakistan atau tempat aktivitas yang dinilai oleh militan tidak islami.

Barat mewanti-wanti warga negaranya untuk tetap rendah hati dan sederhana, menghindari tempat dan membatasi kegiatan saat umat muslim berkumpul menunaikan salat Jumat.

7. Tbilisi, Georgia

Kendati situasi keamanan di Tbilisi, ibukota Georgia sudah mengalami perbaikan, ada beberapa hal penting seperti risiko kriminal dan ancaman terorisme masih mengintai. Seperti ledakan dari alat yang ditemukan di mobil di depan Kedubes Israel di Tbilisi pada 13 Februari 2012.

Pada 12 Mei 2012, ada bencana banjir di Tbilisi yang menewaskan dan melukai beberapa orang. Demonstrasi-demonstrasi yang berujung anarki juga menjadi hal umum di sana. Para pengunjung dan wisatawan diimbau menghindari kota ini. AS dan Inggris juga mengeluarkan travel warning di wilayah Ossetia Selatan dan Abkhazia.

8. Sanaa, Yaman

Sejak Mercer mengadakan survei pada Desember 2011, situasi keamanan di Yaman makin memburuk dengan cepat karena peningkatan perlawanan pada pemerintah dan ketidakstabilan ini membuka pintu pada terorisme.

Ada ancaman penculikan dari kelompok bersenjata, kriminal dan teroris. Salah satu yang diculik adalah staf UNDP di pusat kota Sanaa pada 15 Januari 2012 dan dibebaskan 12 hari kemudian setelah negosiasi yang panjang dengan tebusan.

Namun kesuksesan negosiasi itu dikhawatirkan makin meningkatkan penculikan, salah satu yang diduga melakukan ini adalah Al Qaeda di Semenanjung Arab. AS dan Inggris telah mengeluarkan peringatan berkunjung pada warganya ke kota ini, dan warga negara yang berkunjung disuruh segera meninggalkan kota.

9. Nairobi, Kenya

Ada beberapa ancaman terorisme di kota ini, yang beberapa di antaranya menjadi kenyataan. Yang terbaru adalah serangan granat di dekat gereja di pusat Kota Nairobi pada 29 April 2012 lalu. Seorang tewas dalam serangan itu.

Kedubes AS di Nairobi pada 23 April 2012, pernah mengingatkan bahwa pihaknya menerima informasi yang kredibel akan kemungkinan serangan di hotel dan gedung-gedung pemerintahan namun tidak diketahui kapan terjadinya.

Sebelumnya, pada 10 Maret 2012, ada serangkaian ledakan granat di pusat bisnis yang sedikitnya menewaskan 6 orang dan melukai belasan orang. Pada 5 Januari, otoritas Kenya pernah memberikan peringatan pada warga akan meningkatkan ancaman teroris di Nairobi.

10. Conakry, Republik Guinea

Kriminal dengan kekerasan maupun tidak masih menjadi masalah di negara ini. Kriminal tanpa disertai kekerasan seperti pencopetan, sementara kriminal dengan kekerasan seperti perampokan, penjambretan, penyerangan adalah umum terjadi di kota ini.

Polisi di kota ini sudah menunjukkan kemauan baik untuk mencegah kriminal, namun tak cukup mampu mencegah tingkat kriminal yang meningkat. Seperti penyakit di negara ketiga, polisi dan militer di negara ini juga meminta jatah suap.

Pelaku kriminal biasanya mentargetkan pengunjung bandara, pasar tradisional, hotel dan restoran yang dipenuhi turis asing.

Ive decided to install Windows 10 on my Acer Aspire E15, and I did it today, and I notice great difference in terms of performance over Windows 8.1. (I will point out what I did to make a clean installation on my Acer Aspire Notebook

1. Activation.
It will took 24-48 hours to activate if you make a clean installation. So, upgrading from your previous version is recommended. There are lots of complaints on various forum saying they could not activate windows after clean installation. Microsoft also mentioned that you need to upgrade first before make a clean installation. However recently I found that after the installation, you need to log in to your Microsoft account (live account) and it will activated within 1 or 2 days.

2. Windows Version
Check your windows version so that you can upgrade for free, for example I am using Windows 8.1 Single Language so I can only install Windows 10 Home. If you install Windows 10 Pro Over Windows 8 (basic edition) you will need to purchase the activation key.

3. Create a bootable USB
You will have no problems if you are using DVD to install windows 10. If you are using USB, most current Notebook uses UEFI, it means using Windows USB/DVD released by Microsoft will not work. What what I did was download and install rufus, run the program and create a bootable USB. It has a feature where you can select to format it as GPT for UEFI because MBR only works for notebook tat using BIOS (not UEFI). You also need to select fat32 and not NTFS for the file system.

4. Installation
Upon power on your laptop, press F12 (other model might need to press other keys) to enter the boot selection, select your USB device to start install windows 10. . Remove your USB upon reboot so that it will not boot from the USB and restart the whole installation process again. If you familiar with BIOS/UEFI you can change the setting in the BOOT menu and set your USB as 2nd boot device and your HDD as the first boot device.


5. Product Key/CD Key/Activation
During installation, it will ask for Product Key twice. First time you just need to select Skip and the second select do this later. After the installation finish, just connect to the internet and it will automatically  activated within 2 days . (If not you may need to contact Microsoft to sort it out, and of course someone did contact Microsoft using online chat and success, but he also mentioned how long he have to wait to resolve that matter.)

6. Drivers
Windows 8 or Windows 7 driver should work in Windows 10, but the first thing you need to do is to run automatic updates because it will install the latest drivers for you notebook. I noticed on my Acer there are 3 drivers missing which is (you can check this on device manager):

Video driver : Basic Display Adapater
I use Intel HD driver, I got 4 options to install driver which are download from Acer website, Download from Intel website, run automatic update or directly right click and select update driver from device manager. I use the last option because it does not matter what version it will install, Its low end graphic and the driver wont show any significant improvement. (right?)

TXE Driver : I forgot the name before I installed the driver (lol)
However this driver will not updated automatically, I need to download TXE driver from Acer to install this driver.

SMS message access
This device is some sort of bluetooth component, I just need to install bluetooth driver from acer website. Since I didnt use Bluetooth, I just ignore and leave it there.
